Bryan Galvan Final Exam:How did poe Die?

There are many storys about Poes death. They say he died of alchohol and rabies. I don't think he died of any of those. My theory is that he died of a plague. He was gone during september and was in richmand.
When he came back he had a trunk with cloths, books, and manuscripts. A week later on October 3, 1849 he was seen in a saloon. They say he was drunk and to selfish to worry about the rain and wind. There was no evidence of a bite or scratch mark. A glass of wine could make him very ill for days.
He was found outside the saloon in an alchoholic stupor. When he died his cat was not infected from rabies. His cat died of starvation. When he was found he was wearing someones elses clothes. He looked very ill by then.
After the day at the saloon it was hard for him to drink water. Maybe he had a soar thoat. They described hi as E.P. "Edger Poe". He was half- conscious when he reached the hospital. He did not have rabies.
He had to be carried to the cart to get him to the hospital. On the forth day he was very confused. He kept on repeating a name then got quiet and died. This is why I think Edger Allen Poe had a plague.
