The word love means someone you have feelings and that you like alot.For example like youyr mom says she loves you she means it because your her son and she loves you because she knows you since you were born. The word LOVE is a strong affection for an other arising out of kinship or personal ties. Basically you have feelings for or you care about another human being. I never felt love but i definitely seen it. I seen it with my parents, they both care for each other a lot. In the book "The Afterlife" they show love because they showed love when chuy died at the basketball game. There is no slang word for love. In Spanish love is amor. "Yo Te amo mucho mija."

In the movie whale rider they have a religion of stick fighting.
Girls are not allowed to fight. Pie was the girls name she wanted to fight
bit it was not allowed. Pies friend taught her how to fight. It was not
allowed. I think that friendship is more important than a religion. If

In "After life" Chuy makes s promise to Crystal. He loved his friends, but he nerver told them. I would never do that, because your friend need to know now you feel. Friend ship is the state of being friends. A friend is one who's attached to another by affection or esteemy a favored companion. Frinds are the family taht our hearts choose. I know that my friends would do anything for me, so do I. Less then 2 years ago one of my frinds was kidnap, we stay with her family. We have to make her safe. It was aor duty to look for her, to help her after we find her, because we love her, because she's our cuate our sister.

-I got on a fight with my best friend. I think taht our friendship is over.

Loyalty with the meaning of the quality or state or an insurance of being loyal from the dictionary. An example of being loyal in the story Cranes was when he let his friend go because he wanted to be loyal. An example from the book The Afterlife was when he was loyal to Crystal. He promised her that he was going to go back and see her. So he went to a Raiders game and he left early from the gamejust to go see her. In spanish loyalty you spell it lealtad. Which as in english has th same meaning. With loyalty it can give you lots of problems, if you are trapped between friends and you don't know who to stay true to. But staying loyal to friends and family is very important. So that you can grow honesty, love, and friendship to your relationship.

Justin Murray Perseverance/Steadfast

"All this stuff seems to be hitting me hard all at once, But I got to keep my head up." This is a slang way of using the word perseverance or steadfast. The definition of perseverance is the action or condition or an instance of perserving. The definition of steadfast is being firm in belief, determination, or adherence. The movie Whale Rider gibes us a great example of these words. The girl, Pai contunues to learn ancient ways even though her grandpa forbids it. Pai also continues to strive for a better relationship with her grandpa. The whole time not many people support her to accomplish the goals she has set. Thus making this act of perseverance and steadfastness amazing. I have a real-life example of these words also. It is not as good as the other one though. When I took Algebra 1 and 2 in middle school, I needed perseverance and steadfastness to work hard at passing the finals and doing the homework that I had every night. These two words "steadfast" and "perseverance" are very powerful words, so use them well.

In the book Cranes he saved someone he cared for, their friendship lasted till the end. I've dealt with a lot of friendships in my past and each one has tought me a lesson. In After Life Chuy makes a promise to Crystal. Chuy also loved his friends but he never told them. I would never keep stuff away from friends because they should know how you feel. It can describe an intense feeling of affection, an emotion or an emotional state. In Samoa it means "ALOFA." I Alofa everyone.

The word i am describing is perseverance. the definition of perseverance is the action or condition or an instance or persevering .an example is from the movie Whale Rider when paikea didn't listen to her grandfather and never gave up trying to learn everything that the boys were learning in the school. my life experience is when i was playing a video game i lost to the boss over twenty times so one day i decided to race and gain a lot of money from other people to upgrade my car all the way. when i finished upgrading my car i raced the boss again and i won. i won because i never gave up trying to to upgrade my car to beat him. i persevered top beat the boss in the video game the Spanish word for perseverance is perseverance. the Spanish word is spelled the same way as the English version but is pronounced differently than the English version.

Friendshipe's dictionary definition is one attached to another by affection or esteem. An example from the book "Cranes" is when Songsam let Tokchae, his bestfriend free. There's a value of frienship here beacuse when Tokchae got caught and Songsam was ordered to take Tokchae to the capital. If Songsam didn't remember what he and Tokchae did when they were kids, he would have never let Tokchae go. It's a good thing to hold on to your friends because sometimes they will help you out when your in need. From my personal experience an example would be when my friends in the Philippines were never bothered that I'm a kid that came from the U.S.. Even though I came back from the U.S. they still treated me the same before we go to the U.S. A slang equivalent for friendship can be the word "patna".

Even though Pai's grandpa in Whale Rider didnt like her because she was a girl, but he still raised her. Family means a group of individuals living under one roof and under one head.
