The paper is about a hero's journey. The hero's journey is about a kid named Phillip Enright. Phillip Enright completed his heros journey.

Phillip Enright's seperation starts when his mother thinks the island of curcao. So she decides it is time to go. The calling is when his mother tells him that they are going to America because the island is too dangerous to live on. The threshold is when Phillip does not know if he should stay or if he should go. The descent is when Phillip leaves the island with his mother.

Phillip's initiation is when hefinds his mentor enters the abyss and undergoes transformation. the abyss is the uknown to Phillip the onkown is the cay. The mentor is the person who helps the character throughout the hero's journey to Phillip that was Timothy of charrlote. The transformation is when Timothey dies and Phillip is now independant on his own.

Phillip's return is when he is found on the island by the coast gaurd naked because of the storm that hit the cay. the creation is when Phillip is at home and can now see but he needs to use glasses. my opinion is that phillip completed his hero's journey.

i talked about Phillip Enright in my essay. Phillip did complete his hero's journey. my opinion of the book is that it was good.
